-Replace ‘STRC (certificate) shall expire automatically’ with ‘STRC are not assumable through change of ownership’. Achieved in 927.1
-Add to what the fees can be used for, ‘The registration fees may be used to cover any County, local government, fire district, fire or law enforcement agency costs’
-Regarding occupancy limits, area per person required, ‘(remove) 200 s.f and replace with 300 s.f’.
-Regarding required STR operator response time to complaints and issues during rental, ‘(remove) sixty 60, (replace w) thirty 30 minutes’.
-Add, ‘ The Owner Operator shall at all times be in compliance with Riverside County Ord. 695 and any other local ordinance pertaining to the Abatement of Hazardous vegetation’.
-Add to required notices that owner/operator must give to neighbors within 330 feet, ‘ and then notice that STR Certificate was obtained, within 10 days after issuance.’ Achieved in 927.1
-Regarding county action in cases of failure to respond to complaint, ‘(remove) may, (replace w) shall’. “constitute cause for revocation of the Short Term Rental Certificate.”
